Chairman

Professor Rui Kang (康銳) is a Chair Professor at the Reliability Engineering Research Center in the Department of System Engineering at Beihang University, China. He has developed six courses and published four books and more than 100 journal papers. He has finished more than twenty projects for the Chinese national defense and industry since 1995. For his outstanding scientific research he has received seven Chinese government awards since 1995. He has an excellent research group engaged in reliability design and experimental technology based on the physics of failure and prognostics and health management.
